  Deception — is such "first attempt at writing" of young studio RedFlame. Test surprisingly successful, especially in so difficult field, as creation of spendthrifts to "Witcher". The plot has no relation to a series, any of books "vedmachy", and represents absolutely independent history. Геральт from Riviya learns that his friend, the most famous bard Lyutik, got into troubles and sits in casemates of the city of Karreas. The witcher, matter of course, right there rushes to the aid. On arrival into place he learns that Lyutik is arrested on suspicion in murder and is the main thing (and in fact — the only thing) the suspect. Our task consists in untangling this business and to save to the useless bard his brittle life. The plot is linear to impossibility, no branches has, but in the final it is possible to make a choice whom to consider guilty of a crime. The ending a mode will also depend on your choice.
  Геральт begins game already with the 40th level and all talents which are completely distributed to the third level. Therefore any evil spirits which can meet at night in the dark lane, won't bring problems. In it all essence of the module is also concluded: the main thing — investigation. Such in the last five years met only in Neverwinter Nights 2 and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. But, unlike these games where the guilty is almost always clear and the situation other is required to select, rescue it from you only or not, here. On the investigation course the witcher shall talk to all people, involved in business, collect proofs, rummage around a crime scene. But anyway you should draw conclusions.
  And now about a technical aspect of business: new models and textures are made with due diligence and don't concede to the standard at all. Opportunity to use throwing knives is fastened rather "for show" as fleder of such honor obviously don't deserve (we wait for "Strands of Destiny" from the same command). Only small duration baffles. Maud comes to an end on the most interesting place when you only managed to begin to enjoy. The single consolation — open, how in GTA, the final after which in the city additional entertainments like fisticuffs and poker open.
  Anyway, but Deception is the very first big subject spendthrift to "Witcher", and for a debut it is surprisingly good. To all admirers of The Witcher to put without fail.

  INSTALLATION
  Unpack archive with mod in The Witcher directory from the General Documents folder (for example, C:\\Documents and Settings\\All Users\\Documents\\The Witcher for Windows XP or C:\\Users\\Public\\Documents\\The Witcher for Windows 7). Launch new game and select the Deception module.
