And here one more example of splicing of cinema and games, is only slightly fresher.
The French cinephiles from Quantic Dreams under the guise of "the next good quest" presented us such hurricane which unexpectedly became the principal game of 2005. Not in the commercial or technical plan, at all not. It was game single over the past few years (apart from unless Silent Hill and Metal Gear Solid) which authors didn't reduce the player to the level of the trained monkey, and told story which wanted to be trusted. The main characters reflected on life and destiny under sad music of Angelo Badalamenti (the permanent composer David Lynch) and went to darkness through a snowfall wall. The unprecedented blizzard storming in winter New York, a chain of terrible murders and ancient prophecies of the Maya appeared only scenery to the drama of everyday life with involvement of several absolutely ordinary people. To find each other and it was necessary to remain together only to two of them. To whom exactly — it was clear practically from the very beginning. Despite decent quantity of methods of permission of each situation, the ending was, in fact, one. Not for nothing opposite to a loading line in the main menu the speaking table of "One way" loomed.
This short demoversion contains the beginning of game where Loukas Kane needs to hide proofs and hastily to leave a crime scene. |
